Twenty years experience crowned by two years of fundamental research
concerning the problems of bone growth
in children’s faces (70per cent of children). This enquiry led me to define and
classify the causes of the growth of
the brain and thence to make a prognostic on a middle term basis about
their influence on the body over the behaviour and more globally on the
evolution of the human species. This enquiry has taken the form of a memoir of
some 350 pages entitled Osteopathy and
Evolution. This thesis was upheld in front of a national jury from the French
Academic College and obtained a Merit.
Title: OSTEOPATHY
AND
PHYLOGENY
Subtitle of the thesis: The skull’s dysmorphosis and the problems of the
vital functions have increased in an
alarming way. Is it a question of changes, variations or a mutation of a
cultural nature?
A GLOBAL approach in the domain of Public Health.
Partial summary of the
thesis.
Osteopathy reveals a regulating system between
the motor processes of the hominisation of the skull. Our synthesis underlines
that breast-feeding and the too weak a demand for the jaw function are an
exterior fundamental factor and the disregarding of the natural rhythms of
childbirth are the main causes of the dysmorphosis of the skull’s facets
censored by the French Union for Dental and mouth health in 1998. The zone of
the brain concerned by these phenomena reveal a common denominator with
alarming statistics for public health, those which had risen dramatically were
the cases of diabetes, obesity, mental anorexia, problems of conception,
hypo-fertility, violence and suicide amongst young people in the so-called
developed societies.
